Celery Smoothie (Plant-Based)
1 ½ cups mango
½ -1 green apple
2 cups (15 g) spinach
½ cup celery = 1 stick (55g)
1 ½ cups of coconut milk
½ lime peeled
ginger – 1 thumb – 2cm
6 basil leaves
6 ice cubes
1- In a high-speed blender combine all essential ingredients.
2- Blend for about 1 minute on high speed.
3- Top up with any optional ingredients of your choice.
4- Continue to blend until you’ve reached your desired consistency.
5- Taste & adjust the seasoning if required.
6- Serve immediately or freeze.
You can easily store this smoothie in the freezer, this way it keeps its vibrant colour. Please make sure your bottle is freezer-proof and leave some air-space since frozen liquids expand. Take the smoothie out of the freezer the night before you want to drink it and leave it in your fridge to defrost.
