Swedish Inspired Plant-Based Smoothie

ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS

1 cup (140 g) strawberries

1 cup (120 g) raspberries

½ cup (120 ml) of coconut water

3 blood oranges medium (peeled)

1 medium beetroot (precooked & peeled)

4 dates pitted

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

½ tsp cinnamon

½ tsp cardamom

½ tsp hemp seeds

INSTRUCTION

1- In a high-speed blender combine all essential ingredients.

2- Top up with any optional ingredients of your choice.

3- Blend for about 1 minute on high speed or until you’ve reached your desired consistency

4- Taste & adjust the seasoning if required.

5- Serve immediately, or store in a glass bottle with a lid in your fridge.

NOTES

The beetroot flavour is not very strong it gives the smoothie a slightly earthy taste. The sweetness of the beet complements the berries really well. The spices make this smoothie very unique. You can store this smoothie in your fridge for up to 3 days.
