I love sushi and have made it from scratch a couple of times, but it’s super time-consuming. Not anymore! Check out these sushi sandwiches, they are wrapped up in a matter of seconds!
Cook your sushi rice according to your package instructions. I’m always adding a gulp of rice vinegar and 1/4 tsp of salt. The recipe works also with Basmati rice or Jasmine rice. Brown rice is a bit more tricky because it’s not so sticky, same applies to quinoa.
Now gather your favourite sushi fillings:
Avocado, carrot, beetroot, cucumber, kale, spinach, tofu, mushrooms….
My favourite dipping sauces are:
1 – mushroom soy sauce & water
2 – peanut butter, mushroom soy sauce, maple syrup, water
3 – chilli, garlic, rice vinegar, salt, maple syrup
